please, for the love of god, don't just randomly add me unless you really feel we have something in common cause i won't add you as a friend if i don't give a shit about what you have to say, and i expect others to do the same with me. if i bore you, remove me from your friends list. i won't take offense to it. i do the same thing to my friends list on a regular basis. so if i remove you, don't take it personally. it's not that i don't like you or am mad or anything silly like that, chances are i just don't think we have much in common and/or i don't feel like reading your journal anymore. i have a life, i only read those that interest me.
also, just so you know, i spank my kids. i also don't breastfeed. my son uses a pacifier, wears cloth diapers and is circumcised. i yell at my daughter every so often and joke about selling her on ebay or to the gypsies or the circus (at least i'm not beating her). i let my daughter play with barbie dolls even though i don't agree with the image they portray - she likes them. i let my kids watch cartoons. i know these things aren't anyone's business but my own but apparently i have to warn people now about these things. if you have a problem with any of those things then by all means don't add me as a friend, or keep your opinion to yourself unless i ask for it. i will not judge your parenting techniques as long as you don't judge mine. every parenting style is different and mine works for me and for my kids.
above all, this is a JOURNAL. therefore, there is a good chance i might write things that some may consider tmi, or things that you may not agree with, or things that pertain to me at a certain point in time but can change minutes, hours, days, months, or years later. despite the public forum that this journal lives in, it is still a journal. now, on with the important stuff.

i am 27 years old. i live with my daughter jessalyn, who is five years old, my son, zachary, and my wonderful husband.
i am currently a full-time stay-at-home mom but i want to eventually get my degree in early childhood education and open up my own daycare. i love kevin smith...he's my hero. i'm a poet, a hopeless romantic, and a proud wife and mother with the most wonderful family in the world, who i love more than anything on earth. i can be one of your best friends or one of your worst enemies. i'm a dreamer. take me as i am because i won't change for anyone. here's to life, love, friendship, heartache, and other mind-altering substances.
i am hopelessly head-over-heels in love with one of the most wonderful men in the world. he's not only sweet, caring, loveable and adorable, he also treats me so good that sometimes i wonder if i really deserve him. on may 8 of 2004 i was lucky enough to marry this man who has not only been the best boyfriend in the world, but my best friend and the best stepdaddy jessalyn could ever have. i love you sweetheart.
i also have the cutest daughter and stepdaughter in the world. kirbie and jessalyn are both very smart and loveable and i'm lucky to be in their lives, even though i don't get to see kirbie nearly as much as i'd like to. i am also lucky enough to have the cutest baby boy in the whole world, zachary (aka zack). i know that all three of my kids will get the best out of life and always be surrounded by love. i love them all more than they'll ever know.
as if the wonderful hubby and kids weren't enough, i am the proud "mommy" of the most loveable, awesome cat in the world...the baron george amadeus mozart von whiskers, esquire (fondly referred to as "the baron" or "mr. whiskers")
